Inspiring Future Leaders
For the past 30 years, The Marine Technology Trust, a charity registered with The Charity Commission, has set out to foster and encourage new and emerging talent by providing opportunities for education, training and research to young people in the field of marine technology.
The Trust makes awards to students who are studying naval architecture, marine engineering, ship science, offshore renewables, autonomous vessels and boat building in the form of financial awards. These fund industrial training opportunities in the marine industries via summer internships.
To be eligible for this award you must:
- Be an undergraduate marine technology student studying a discipline such as naval architecture, marine engineering, ship science, offshore engineering, or boat building.
- Have secured a summer internship within the UK’s marine technology industry.
